Good Morning My Friends!
I hope you're staying safe through the heat and the storms. This week I wanted to revisit my latest book Mom Dad Not Hear: 30 Powerful Stories and Lessons about Leadership, Life, and Love from My Deaf Parents.
As mentioned, I did my best to write with a laugh, cry, and smile philosophy.

Top 3 Funniest Chapters (from the author's perspective)
Toilet Paper, Eggs, and Underwear (Page 117) - This one always makes me laugh because it is vividly etched into my mind for life! Understand why jokes are always better than pranks.
It was a fall Saturday night, one of those perfect Michigan weekends when the air was crisp, the sky brilliant blue, and the leaves were turning blazing shades of red, yellow, and orange. All should be nice and peaceful on a Saturday evening like this, but my father was far from relaxed. He was on high alert. The previous weekend, our house had been TPed and egged, and my father wanted to catch those scoundrels in the act—if they dared show up again.same tradition for twenty years. They still look forward to the trip every year!

The waitress returns, beaming from ear to ear— obviously proud of herself. She hands new menus to my parents, while slowly and clearly declaring, “I got you a different menu!”
Hunting (Page 95) - Join my father and me on a typical morning of deer hunting. Learn why you must get prepared and be patient.
In the evening of each opening day, I would interpret the same message from my dad to my uncles: “Neighbor is too close; scare deer away.” However, here is the truth about what happened that day in the blind to scare the deer away
